Linda Zeb Hang

Bio

Linda Zeb Hang works in photography, painting, sculpture, wearable assemblage, performance, book expedition design, and collaborative artists’ books. Founded in 2013, FIST publishes and considers art as objective oxygen: whereby endophytic calyxes, charas of the mind, surface endurance, terrain modification, movement observatories, ocular imaging, and manipulation of graphics, are indivisibly self-determinant curriculums. Hang’s presentations have exhibited nationally at MoMA PS1, New York; Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in Los Angeles; NADA with Printed Matter, Inc.; and internationally in Tokyo, Japan. Her workings are held within collective and public spheres, including the Carl A. Kroch Library, RMC at Cornell University (NY), and the Marjorie G. and Carl W. Stern Book Arts & Special Collections Center at the San Francisco Public Library (CA). Hang studied at the Art Institute of San Francisco, California, and currently lives and works in New York City and Humboldt County, Far Northern California.
